The original limestone house dates to approximately 1908. Its history and relationship with the coast give it a character that could not be replicated by a newly constructed retreat. Earlier documentation records six bedrooms, sitting and dining rooms, a modern kitchen, pantry and two cellars, although the present configuration should be confirmed following subsequent renovation.

Approximately 365 metres of beach and clifftop frontage wrap around the property, with ownership historically documented to the mean high-water mark. A large boat shed, beachfront boathouse and offshore mooring make arrival and exploration by water an intrinsic part of the experience.

This is a residence for guests seeking distance, landscape and a genuine sense of place. Days may be shaped around the beach, boating, walking and the privacy of the property itself rather than a fixed itinerary.

The house can form the wild southern conclusion to a journey beginning in Sydney or the Southern Highlands, or it can be considered as a complete destination in its own right.
